Andrew “Pyro” Chung (of Toronto, Canada) is a professional dancer, performer, and street dance instructor/choreographer from Toronto, Canada. You may have spotted him on T.V, in movies, or touring around the world doing live stage performances. He has opened for artists such as Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock, Hedley, Kardinal Offishall, and Maestro Fresh Wes. He has also been featured in productions such as The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), and most recently, the closing ceremony of the Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico 2011 under the direction of Luther Brown (SYTYCD Canada judge).
Pyro has also entered numerous dance competitions and battles over the last decade. In the last 2 years alone, he has won 9 all styles championships in various events across North America.
Outside of performing, Pyro has dedicated many years to his students and surrounding dance community. Having taught workshops in Europe, Canada and the United States, he is continuously striving to spread the knowledge of street dance he has gained throughout his years.
